Big Questions: Why should I forgive?

Have you ever had to forgive someone? Did you find it easy? Forgiveness is at the very heart of the Christian faith but what does it mean to truly forgive?

One of the most important things Jesus taught his followers was to forgive others. In fact, the Bible says that Jesus’ final words as he died on the cross were ones forgiving the people who had put him there. But in reality, we can find forgiveness difficult. When people hurt us, it is hard to feel anything other than pain and resentment.

In this film, Mark and Sarah look at why forgiveness is so central to Christian ethics and the impact it has, not just on other people, but ourselves.
