exploRE: the life of Jesus

A complete programme of study for 11-14 year olds

File

FileThis multi-media resource comprises 14 packed lesson plans and has been devised for use with 11 to 14 year olds as part of their Religious (and Moral) Education lessons.

Each lesson encourages students to discover the person of Jesus Christ as recorded in the gospels and explore how these accounts have influenced key Christian beliefs. Most importantly, students are given the opportunity to reflect on their own response to Jesus.

Each lesson plan contains games, discussion starters, activities and written work to help students learn about Christianity today. The resource also includes an award-winning DVD featuring updated versions of the gospel accounts, and stories from Christians today that help students investigate the person of Jesus in a way that is both engaging and meaningful.

“For anyone struggling to produce a meaningful and relevant resource on Jesus, the exploRE file is invaluable.” Martyn J Smith, Head of RE
