An exciting 48 hour residential for your primary students
NEW from the team that brings you RE:quest – a brand new residential experience exploring transition themes with your Year 6 students.
RE:quest, in partnership with Action Centres UK, present an exciting new 3-day residential experience which combines high-energy outdoor activity with fun interactive workshops reflecting on the move from Primary to Secondary education.
You can create a bespoke daytime activity programme for your students, choosing from activities such as high ropes, zip wires, raft building*, climbing, abseiling, caving and much more! During the evening, you can select from exciting experiences such as the campfire, night walk or inflatables. (See ACUK sites below for more details.)
Our unique ‘Zone’ workshops, led by the RE:quest team, combine elements of the RE and PSHE curriculum to support students at a key moment in their school career. Over 3 sessions, students travel back in time to the time of the ancient Israelites. As they delve into the story of this epic journey into the Promised Land, students are invited to reflect on their own life journey:
- Celebrating their past achievements and reflecting on the lessons they have learned;
- Exploring the present challenge of moving into a new phase of life, and how to manage change positively;
- Looking ahead to the future – not just in terms of what they might want to do, but who they hope to become.
Each workshop comprises a range of games, activities, drama, discussion tasks and individual reflection work, and lasts 90 minutes.
The residential runs at 2 locations in the Midlands:
- Pioneer Centre, Cleobury Mortimer, Shropshire, DY14 8JG
- Whitemoor Lakes Centre, Lichfield, Staffs, WS13 8QT
