RE:QUEST

A space for resources to help RE teachers and their students explore the Christian faith

In this section we have compiled additional resources to equip you with engaging activities and help you in supporting your students relevantly.

Anti-Racist RE

Use these resources to explore this topic with your students

Free Churches GroupThe Free Churches Group and Methodist Schools believe that racial harmony is one of the most important issues in our society today. They believe that it is no longer sufficient to be non-racist, but we need to be equipped to be anti-racist.

Many members of the Free Churches Group are engaged in their own conversations about how to combat the inequalities in our society. Consequently, they have commissioned a series of resources to help your students engage with the issue.

Written by Lat Blaylock from RE Today Services, with contributions from a team of teacher-volunteers from Black, Asian, and minority ethnic backgrounds, these resources have been developed to provide a tangible expression of their concerns. It is hoped that they will provide a contribution to enable students to engage with this very important issue.

The best bit? They’re all free! You can find both primary and secondary resources here.
