Evil and Suffering: A Christian Response

If God is a saviour, how come bad things still happen?

Many people blame God for the bad things that happen in the world. However, Christians have a different point of view. They believe God created a perfect world but humans have spoiled it with their poor choices. It is not God who starts wars or commits murders; it is humans who have abused their free will.

But why doesn’t God stop bad things from happening? Isn’t he a saviour and, like a superhero, supposed to save us from these things?
