Salvation: God's Rescue Plan for Humanity

What happened when Jesus died?

The central belief of the Christian faith is that God came to earth in human form. This is what we call the incarnation of God: Jesus, the second person of the Trinity was made flesh and dwelt among us. Even before he was born, God knew that Jesus would be killed by humans, but he still sent him. That's because this was all part of God's plan to bring restoration to humankind's relationship to himself.

By dying, Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice and paid the price for our sins so that we can be at one with God.

In this video, Naomi from God and the Big Bang, explains the reason for, and consequences of, Jesus' death on the cross. Watch it to find out more on this subject...
