Compassion International

How does Compassion International tackle poverty?

  • What is poverty?
  • Why is poverty such an important issue to tackle?
  • What can we do to help combat the injustice of poverty?
  • How do Christians respond to poverty?

Wess Stafford is the former President Emeritus at the Christian charity Compassion International. He is the author of two books, 'Too Small to Ignore' and 'Just a Minute.'

In this film, Wess explains what he sees as the main issue of poverty and how it can be tackled. Compassion works through local churches in poor communities around the world to release children from poverty. They partner groups and individuals in developed countries with some of the world's poorest children in order to help them fulfill their God-given potential.
