Confirmation

What happens during a confirmation service?

Have you ever joined a club or organisation?

Did you have to make promises about what you would do and how you would behave?

Young people within Roman Catholic and Anglican churches are usually baptised as a baby. When they are older, usually around 13 to 14 years old, they have the opportunity to be confirmed.

The churches hold a special service, where they confirm that they want to follow Jesus for the rest of their lives.
