Creation
How was the world created? The Bible describes how God made the world and everything in it. But that's not all - it also explains why God created everything.
The Fall
Why do bad things happen? The Bible tells a story of the first people God created and the bad choices they made not to do things God's way.
Noah and the Flood
The world was broken by sin and God wanted to start again. He told Noah to build a big boat in order to get ready - a huge flood was on the way!
Abraham & Sarah
God loved people and wanted people to love Him. But a lot of people didn't want anything to do with God. So God decided that He was going to start with just one person - a man called Abram.
Moses
The Israelite had moved to Egypt but over time, the Egyptians started to treat them badly. God called a man called Moses to help get the Israelites released and to lead them out of Egypt.
Judges and Kings
Sometimes the Israelites got into trouble and needed help. God raised up leaders called 'Judges' to lead the people in times of crisis. But the Israelites wanted more than Judges - they wanted a king to lead them.
King David
The most famous king of Israel was King David. He was just a boy when God chose him and told him that he was going to be king of Israel. David was brave, fighting a giant called Goliath. He was a man after God's own heart.
The Exile to Babylon
The land that the Israelites lived in was taken over by other nations. The Israelites were captured and taken away to another land.
Jonah
God sent prophets to tell the Israelites what He was saying and to help guide them. Jonah was a prophet that God gave a special message to, but Jonah didn't want to deliver the message...
The Prophet Isaiah
Isaiah is one of the most famous prophets in the Old Testament. He told of a special person who would come and rescue humanity; the Messiah.
